At approximately 3:45 pm, on the 4th day of April, 2017, members of the Cobourg Police Service responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision on Danforth Road East in the Town of Cobourg.
Upon arrival a 62 year old man was found deceased in the vehicle.
The Cobourg Police Service was assisted by the Ontario Provincial Police Technical Traffic Collision Investigation team at the collision scene.
At this time Police have concluded their assessment of the scene and the roadway will be opening shortly. As this incident is currently under investigation, the name of the 62 year old victim will not be released.
