Cobourg Media is your home for local news, video and multi-media services.

Founder, Executive Producer, and Host Graham Beer started Cobourg Media at the age of twelve on September 9, 2012. Formerly known as Cobourg News, the inaugural video report originated when his mom and her friend were almost killed by a falling tree branch on their way to an art show. After confirming that everyone was okay, Graham grabbed his camera and microphone to cover the story.

As the roving reporter for Cobourg Media, Graham has covered a variety of stories from the streets of Cobourg to international events including the Vimy Ridge 100th Anniversary and the D-Day 75th Anniversary in France. He has also produced several broadcast specials including “Cobourg Media Canada Day Live” and “Cobourg Together At Home”.

Graham has interviewed several notables including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, CBC’s Peter Mansbridge, Ontario Premiers Doug Ford and Kathleen Wynne, Olympians Clara Hughes and Hayley Wickenheiser, Vimy Foundation Co-Chair Helen Vari, WE Founder Craig Kielburger and many others.

For three consecutive years, Graham and his team of volunteers raised over $7000 for the Salvation Army and Northumberland Fare Share Food Bank through the “Cobourg Media Christmas Special” at Cobourg Collegiate Institute.
