On Saturday, Walmart Canada matched donations made by individuals to the Salvation Army Christmas kettles located in its stores nationwide up to a maximum of $100,000.
Busy shoppers looked onwards to special guests including The Salvation Army Band, The Northumberland Chorus and members of the Cobourg Cougars.
Graham Beer stood by the kettle to support the Salvation Army and was joined by the supportive community.
